Privacy Policy
autoDNG is a browser-based brand naming and domain research toolset operated at autodng.com. This policy explains exactly what data is collected, what never leaves your device, and who else is involved when you use the site.
The short version. autoDNG has no user accounts and no application server. Your AI provider API key and your generated names are stored only in your own browser. We never receive, log, or transmit them. The only data we collect is anonymous analytics, plus whatever you voluntarily type into our contact/checkout form.
1. Your API key never reaches us
autoDNG lets you supply your own API key for an AI provider (OpenRouter, OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Groq). That key is saved in your browser's localStorage and is used to call the provider directly from your browser.
- The key is never sent to autodng.com or any server we control.
- We cannot see it, recover it, or use it.
- Clearing your browser storage for this site permanently deletes it.
Because requests go straight from your browser to your chosen provider, your prompts and the names you generate are subject to that provider's privacy policy and data-retention terms. Please review theirs before use.
2. What is stored in your browser

None of this is transmitted to us. You can erase all of it at any time via your browser's "clear site data" control.
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic — page views, approximate region, device type, and referral source. This is used only to improve the product. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not run advertising or remarketing tags on this site.
You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or any tracker-blocking extension; the site works fully without analytics.
4. Domain availability lookups
To show whether a name's domain is registered, your browser queries public registry services directly. No lookup passes through us. Each request contains only the domain being checked, and each service has its own privacy policy.

Some extensions — .co among them — publish no browser-reachable RDAP service. For those, no lookup is made and the tool says the status could not be verified rather than guessing.
5. Contact and checkout form
If you submit our consulting enquiry or checkout form, it is delivered through Formspree. The details you type (such as name, email, and project description) are processed by Formspree and emailed to us so we can reply. We use them only to respond to your enquiry and deliver the service requested.
Payments for consulting are settled by manual bank transfer (Wise) after we contact you. We never collect card numbers, bank credentials, or payment details through this website.
6. Third parties
- Google Fonts and cdnjs — serve fonts and one PDF-export library; they receive your IP address as part of any normal web request.
- GitHub Pages — hosts this site and may keep standard server logs.
- Your chosen AI provider — receives your naming prompts, as described in section 1.
7. Cookies
autoDNG sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics may set its own cookies for aggregate measurement. We use browser storage (described in section 2) rather than cookies for all product functionality.
8. Children
autoDNG is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
9. Your rights
Because we hold no account data, most data about you exists only on your own device and is under your direct control. For anything you sent us through the contact form, you may request a copy or deletion by emailing support@teachings.ai. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA — we honour access and deletion requests regardless of jurisdiction.
10. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
